Discovering the Five Movements of Love
Love is among the most familiar, yet least understood, aspects of the human experience. It has been described as an emotion, a biological drive, a psychological attachment, a moral virtue, a spiritual revelation, and the foundation of healthy relationships. Each of these perspectives offers genuine insight, yet none fully captures the breadth of Love.
I begin with a different premise.
Love is a Universal Force.
Just as gravity organizes matter and electromagnetism governs particle behavior, Love is the connective force that organizes the relationship itself. Through Love, individuals become families, families become communities, communities become cultures, and isolated experiences become meaningful lives. Love is not merely something we experience. It continually organizes the relational architecture of human existence.
For more than twenty-five years, I have been engaged in developing what I now call the Universal Models—a body of work exploring the energetic architecture underlying consciousness, human development, and lived experience. During the early years of this research, in the spring of 2001, I received an energetic transmission unlike any I had previously encountered.
It emerged from what I came to call the Sea of Nothingness.
It arrived complete.
The transmission consisted of twenty-five equal parts organized within a five-by-five structure.
My process for receiving these transmissions followed a consistent pattern. Rather than beginning with language or concepts, I would first enter the energetic field of the phenomenon as a complete whole. Only after expanding beyond the whole would I begin sensing its equal parts and gradually translating those energetic impressions into conscious language. Long before digital research tools and large language models, this meant spending countless hours with dictionaries and thesauruses, searching for words to describe experiences beyond ordinary vocabulary.
The transmission carried a simple title:
Empowerment I — The 25 Axioms of Love.
Although the energetic pattern was immediately perceptible, the language was not. I translated only the first ten axioms into words before reaching the limits of my understanding at that time. The remaining structure remained beyond language, and I set the work aside.
Over the following twenty-five years, the larger body of work continued to mature. The Universal Models gradually emerged. Their governing principles became increasingly clear, eventually culminating in the development of the 24 Life Components—a Cube Template that became the signature framework underlying the ReBalancing Clinic, the 24-Hour Attunement, and much of the work I teach today.
During those same years, the Axioms of Love quietly receded from my conscious awareness, along with many other early energetic markers that guided the research. Each day brought discoveries, only a fraction of which I could adequately record. The unfinished transmission had not been abandoned.
It had been assimilating.
Only recently did I return to those original pages.
What I discovered was not an unfinished transmission.
I discovered where it belonged.
Within the Universal Models, the 25 Axioms revealed themselves as a Sphere Template. Just as the 24 Life Components represent one holistic mapping of the Cube, the 25 Axioms of Love represent one holistic mapping of the Sphere. Neither template exhausts the potential of its Universal Model. Rather, each provides a coherent architecture through which one governing aspect of that model may be explored.
Looking back across the years of research, I also recognized a recurring pattern. Every authentic beginning, every enduring act of creation, and every significant discovery first engaged Love as its foundation.
The transmission had never been incomplete.
It had been waiting.
Only after the surrounding architecture matured could the original transmission reveal its complete pattern.
Viewed through the framework of the Universal Models, the twenty-five axioms emerged as a coherent living matrix describing how Love moves from infinite potential into lived experience.
Within the Universal Models, the Sphere represents the receptive aspect of Oneness. It symbolizes the Sea of Nothingness, infinite potential, and the field within which the remaining Universal Models emerge. Geometrically, each of the five Platonic Solids may be perfectly inscribed within the Sphere while preserving the equal and complementary function of every Universal Model. Energetically, the Sphere represents the receptive field from which differentiated experience emerges and to which it ultimately returns.
The governing force of this receptive field is Love.
The Twenty-five Axioms describe one holistic mapping of the functions of that force.
The completed transmission reveals itself as a five-by-five matrix. Read horizontally, it reveals the Five Movements of Love—the governing functions through which Love continually enters, unfolds, activates, interweaves, and manifests. Read vertically, it reveals the Five Positions of Love—the recurring patterns through which Love is born, grows, reveals itself, flows, and reaches fulfillment. Every axiom occupies a unique intersection between these two perspectives, expressing a distinct function while simultaneously participating in the greater whole.
The pages that follow explore this Sphere Template through both perspectives. We begin with the Five Movements, observing how Love functions as a Universal Force. We then turn to the Five Positions, observing how Love continually matures through human experience.
Individually, the axioms illuminate distinct functions of Love.
Together, they reveal a coherent architecture through which Love continually organizes, connects, and creates human experience.
The Twenty-five Axioms of Love
The completed transmission reveals a remarkably simple architecture. Twenty-five axioms organize themselves into a five-by-five matrix that may be explored from two complementary perspectives. Read horizontally, the matrix reveals the Five Movements of Love—the governing functions through which Love continually participates in creation. Read vertically, it reveals the Five Positions of Love—the recurring patterns through which Love matures within human experience.
Every axiom occupies a unique intersection between a Movement and a Position.
Each may be contemplated individually.
Each gains additional meaning through its relationship with every other axiom.
Together, they reveal one coherent living whole.
The matrix is more than a method of organizing ideas.
It is a way of observing Love.
As our perspective shifts, new patterns emerge. The twenty-five axioms remain unchanged, yet the relationships among them continually reveal new insight. Every return to the matrix offers another opportunity to recognize a deeper layer of the architecture.
Like Love itself, this template rewards continual return.

There is no single correct place to begin.
Any Movement naturally leads toward the others. Any Position reflects every other Position. Every axiom offers an entry point into the whole.
We will begin by reading across the Five Movements of Love. This perspective reveals the governing functions through which Love continually enters, unfolds, activates, interweaves, and manifests throughout human experience.
The Five Movements of Love
Love is not static.
Like every Universal Force, Love continually moves, organizes, and creates. The Five Movements describe this living process. Together, they reveal the governing functions through which Love continually participates in creation.
Although each Movement performs a distinct function, no Movement exists independently. Every Movement remains present within every moment, continually informing and supporting the others. They are not sequential stages through which Love passes once. They are complementary functions operating simultaneously within every authentic expression of Love.
The Five Movements invite us to observe Love in motion.
Not merely as something we feel.
But as something that is continually happening.
LOVE ENTERS
Receiving Love
Love enters through openness.
Every experience of Love begins with receptivity. Before Love unfolds, activates, interweaves, or manifests, it must first become available. This Movement establishes the receptive field through which connection becomes possible. It prepares the vessel, not by adding something new, but by creating the openness through which Love may enter conscious experience.
This Movement is expressed through five axioms:
- Forgiveness releases separation.
- Compassion softens perception.
- Esteem affirms inherent value.
- Circulation allows the connection to move freely.
- Holding sustains the space in which Love may remain.
Together, these axioms prepare the vessel through which Love may enter conscious experience.
LOVE UNFOLDS
Becoming Love
Love unfolds through continual becoming.
Love naturally expands what it enters. What first appears as an experience gradually becomes a way of being. This Movement cultivates the vessel, allowing Love to deepen, integrate, and mature until it increasingly expresses itself through the individual.
This Movement is expressed through five axioms:
- Recreation restores possibility.
- Education develops understanding.
- Illumination reveals a deeper truth.
- Nourishment strengthens continual growth.
- Permission removes unnecessary limitations.
Together, these axioms cultivate the vessel, deepening our capacity to embody Love as an enduring way of being.
LOVE ACTIVATES
Expressing Love
Love activates through conscious expression.
Love naturally seeks participation. What has been received and cultivated now moves outward through conscious choice. This Movement transforms inner potential into living expression, allowing Love to participate directly in experience through intention, movement, and action.
This Movement is expressed through five axioms:
- Initiation begins participation.
- Choice directs intention.
- Direction establishes purpose.
- Movement carries Love into experience.
- Action gives Love a visible expression.
Together, these axioms reveal the living mechanics through which Love actively participates in creation.
LOVE INTERWEAVES
Relating through Love
Love interweaves through an authentic relationship.
Love naturally extends beyond itself. As Love moves between individuals, it creates the shared field in which the relationship lives. This Movement weaves individual expressions into mutual participation, allowing belonging, trust, and shared creation to emerge.
This Movement is expressed through five axioms:
- Presence offers wholehearted availability.
- Trust creates relational safety.
- Vulnerability invites authenticity.
- Reciprocity sustains mutual exchange.
- Union reveals belonging.
Together, these axioms establish the conditions through which authentic relationships continually develop.
LOVE MANIFESTS
Creating with Love
Love manifests through creation.
Love continually gives rise to new possibilities. As Love enters, unfolds, activates, and interweaves, it naturally becomes visible within lived reality. This Movement anchors the creative force of Love into the structures, experiences, and expressions that shape our lives.
This Movement is expressed through five axioms:
- Integration gathers the whole.
- Realization awakens conscious knowing.
- Embodiment gives Love tangible form.
- Radiance naturally extends Love’s influence.
- Generation gives rise to future creation.
Together, these axioms anchor Love within lived reality, establishing Love as a continually generative force whose influence extends beyond the present moment.
The Five Positions of Love
The Five Movements reveal the dynamic functions through which Love continually participates in creation.
The matrix also reveals a second perspective.
Rather than reading across the Movements of Love, we may read down through its Positions. The same twenty-five axioms now illuminate not how Love functions, but how Love matures.
Each Position represents a recurring pattern in the development of Love. Together, they remind us that Love is not a destination to reach. Love continually begins, grows, reveals itself, flows, and becomes generative.
THE BIRTH OF LOVE
Beginning Love
Every expression of Love begins with an opening.
Birth is the willingness to receive what has not yet become. Whether Love enters, unfolds, activates, interweaves, or manifests, every expression of Love begins with a first moment of emergence. This Position reminds us that every beginning already contains the potential of the whole.
This Position is expressed through five axioms:
- Forgiveness
- Recreation
- Initiation
- Presence
- Integration
Together, these axioms reveal how every expression of Love begins.
THE GROWTH OF LOVE
Expanding Love
Nothing living remains unchanged.
Growth continually expands Love’s capacity to receive, understand, choose, trust, and ultimately realize itself. Every Movement contains its own pattern of growth, and together they reveal Love continually becoming more fully itself.
This Position is expressed through five axioms:
- Compassion
- Education
- Choice
- Trust
- Realization
Together, these axioms reveal how Love continually grows through conscious participation.
THE REVELATION OF LOVE
Revealing Love
Love gradually reveals what has always been present.
Revelation does not add something new. It uncovers something true. As Love matures, it becomes increasingly visible through clarity, authenticity, and embodied presence. What once remained hidden quietly enters conscious awareness.
This Position is expressed through five axioms:
- Esteem
- Illumination
- Direction
- Vulnerability
- Embodiment
Together, these axioms reveal how Love continually uncovers its own nature.
THE FLOW OF LOVE
Living Love
Love cannot remain still.
Its nature is continual movement, exchange, and participation. As Love flows, it nourishes life, deepens relationships, and naturally extends beyond itself. Flow allows Love to remain living rather than becoming fixed.
This Position is expressed through five axioms:
- Circulation
- Nourishment
- Movement
- Reciprocity
- Radiance
Together, these axioms reveal how Love continually renews itself through participation.
THE FULFILLMENT OF LOVE
Becoming Generative
Love fulfills itself by creating beyond itself.
Fulfillment is not finality. It is the realization of Love’s creative nature. As Love matures, it develops the capacity to sustain, unite, and generate new beginnings, allowing every fulfillment to become the seed of further creation.
This Position is expressed through five axioms:
- Holding
- Permission
- Action
- Union
- Generation
Together, these axioms reveal Love as a continually generative force whose fulfillment gives rise to new beginnings.
Returning to the Whole
The 25 Axioms of Love do not attempt to define Love.
No single template could.
They offer a coherent way to explore Love through the receptive architecture of the Sphere. Each axiom illuminates a distinct quality. Each Movement reveals a governing function. Each Position offers another perspective from which to observe Love’s continual maturation. Together, they form one living template through which Love may be contemplated, experienced, and consciously embodied.
Like every living system, this template invites participation rather than conclusion.
Its purpose is not to provide final answers, but to cultivate deeper observation. Each return to the matrix reveals new relationships among the axioms, new insights into our own lives, and new opportunities to participate more consciously in the organizing force of Love. The template remains the same, yet our understanding continues to evolve.
Perhaps this reflects the nature of Love itself.
Love is not merely an emotion, an ideal, or a philosophy.
Love is not simply something we feel, something we give, or something we receive.
Love continually organizes relationships. It generates creation, invites participation, and weaves individual lives into something greater than themselves.
The 25 Axioms of Love represent one holistic Sphere Template through which that Universal Force may be explored.
They are not the destination.
They are an invitation.
An invitation to observe more deeply.
To participate more consciously.
And to discover that Love has been organizing our lives long before we possessed the language to describe it.
